Artist's Comments

The second goddess of the goddess challenge; Rhiannon, welsh for movement and motion. I really am pleased with the overall image. Big thanks to Dante for helping me find the bg. ^_^

Alright, so the horse didn't have a mane or tail originally. I painted those in. Then I added the horn and beard by hand as well. If they look funky, that's why. The glow was for effect more than anything else. The background was originally a whole lot bigger and a sepia tone. I colorized it to get more of a Scottish feel.

I just happen to :heart: this. It looks very ethereal, and the glow was a GREAT choice! Is the black around the edges of the horse on purpose, or is it just sloppy cutting? If it's the latter, try cutting onto a bright, solid colour so that you can't miss anything. :)

It was originally sloppy cutting (sharp eye!) and I was going to go back and fix it. I cut out another version (on a red background) and then replaced it, but I really didn't like how it looked. I switched it back and decided to call it intentional.

Lmfao! You make me smile. :D You'll be glad to know that the "intentional" cutting looks just fine in this picture! Sometimes we can pull it off, and sometimes we cant.
