It has been brought to my attention that the original credits on this picture are false. The background was not the property of the original provider and has proved to be a violation. Tell me a story, about a prince and a princess....



This is the first piece I've submitted in a long time. I've tried to get back into the practice as fast as possible, but what can I say? It's not exactly like riding a bicycle. Constructive criticism is welcomed.

I started with the background, lightened it then added the woman. She took a bit of blending and such to match the background. Next I found the castle and blended it in, then the flowers. Then Sleeping Beauty got the flower in her hands. Next came the Prince, then he got his head transplant (he's my version of Prince Charming, so I tried to make him look just right). That's that!

I chose Sleeping Beauty because the special edition of the Disney movie just came out, and it has always been my favorite. I might be doing more of this fairy tale stuff. I like it.

Ro, you amaze me. Enough said.

I love the sparklyness of it. :P Really, I do. The one thing that needs improved is that the guy seems a bit blurry compared to the girl who seems way more detailed.

Other than that, it's pretty darn awesome sauce!

>.< That guy is giving me fits. I think the head transplant changed the quality of the picture, and that made it really hard to look like he belonged. I'm gonna try really hard to fix that though. ^_^ Thanks for the crits dear. You know that I love them.

Have you seen the new Little Mermaid movie that just came out? I wonder if it's worth watching, or just another sequel-type-thing that ruins the rest of the story...

I HAVE seen it, and its worth the watch. I mean, its nowhere near the caliber of the original, but I was entertained. It has some good jokes in there, and it is nice to see an entire movie centered around Ariel's childhood. I think it was worth the price of the rental at least. :heart:
